TSSSA Netball - One Day Tournament

Schools may enter as many teams as they wish across the 6 grades.

There is no entry fee for the TSSSA Tournament.

REGISTRATION: No more than 12 players to be registered in the team for the tournament. Players may play only for the team in which they are registered or for a higher graded team in the same school. Players may only be registered in one team playing at this Tournament. Only Year 9s are permitted to play in the year 9 grade. Only Year 10 students are permitted to play in the year 10 grade. Teams will be required to inform TSSSA of the 12 players playing in the tournament on their first scorecard of the day.

MATCH PERSONNEL - Each Team must supply a registered umpire (registered means has completed Netball Taranaki online theory test), who will umpire their own team for the tournaments duration. Umpire names must be provided on entry. Scorecards will be provided and each team must provide a scorer to score each game.

MATCH BALL: Each team is required to provide a match ball.

SPECTATORS: All teams will be responsible for the behaviour of their players, officials and spectators.

GAME DURATION AND DRAW - Games are 12 minutes each way with 2 minutes half time. Team managers must report to the tower at least 20 minutes before their first game to collect their score card. The draw will be forwarded to schools prior to the tournament.

FORMAT OF COMPETITION: To be based on number of entries received, Teams will be advised when the draw is released.

POINTS Win: 3 Points / Draw: 2 Points / Loss 3 goals or less: 1 point
