Hawera High School win inaugural TSSSA Swimming Trophy

Last night at TSSSA Swimming, Hawera High School became the inaugural winners of the schools trophy. 

Accumulating points through placing & participation the Hawera swimming team came out on top, a staggering 94 points ahead of the second placed school, Stratford High School. 

TSSSA Swimming was held at the TSB Pool in Stratford and drew 72 students from around the region. 

One record was broken in the pool with Claudia Kelly from NPGHS breaking the Intermediate Girls 100m Freestyle record with a swim of 1.00.64. This record had previously stood since 2007.
