Junior sportsman, woman & team of the year announced

A stellar line up of young men, women & teams took to the stage last night at the Taranaki Sports Person of the Year Awards.
Youth Commonwealth Games gold medal winning swimmer Zac Reid was again named junior sportsman in a year when he captained the national junior surf lifesaving team at the International Surf Rescue Challenge.
Middle distance runner Hannah O'Connor was named junior sportswoman of the year.
O'Connor, 16, was in record breaking form throughout the year, winning the Australian All Schools Cross-Country championships while she dominated the junior 1500m and 3000m races at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Athletics Championships.
The Francis Douglas Memorial College motocross squad was the junior team of the year.
Josh and Adam Loveridge, along with Conor Attrill-Mundt, won the Junior North Island and Junior New Zealand cross country titles.
