Taranaki teens set to take on the world in pool championships

Two young Taranaki pool players are off to represent New Zealand in the United States later this month.
New Plymouth Boys' High School students Mario Hildred, 17, and Stratford's Crystalee Jane, 18, will head to the Valley National 8-Ball League Association (VNEA) World Pool Championships in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
The two are part of the New Zealand team which is made up of players from all around the country including Auckland, Pukekohe, and Hamilton.
Earlier in the year Hildred and Jane were part of a team that went to the junior pool championships.
Hildred was also recently crowned the Oceania Under 21 Singles Snooker Champion.
