Boys' High dominate sports exchange
1 Jun 2017
New Plymouth Boys' High School had a day to remember in the annual sports exchange against cross-town rivals Francis Douglas Memorial College on Wednesday.
The second XV rugby match was one-sided, with Boys' High coming away with an 87-0 win.
Things were even more one-sided in the under-15 rugby match as Boys' High racked up a 120-0 scoreline.
Things were not too much better in the first XI hockey match with Boys' High winning 12-1 to retain the Stones Blanks Trophy.
The Carr Mori Cup was also won by Boys' High after they won the first V basketball game 80-49.
The one bright spot for Francis Douglas came in the first XI football match with the game ending in a 2-2 draw.
The annual first XV rugby match was played in May as the curtain raiser to the Chiefs' Super Rugby match against the Reds. That match was also won by Boys' High.
