TSSSA BEACH VOLLEYBALL

TSSSA Beach Volleyball caters for students of all levels, those with experience team up in pairs in the competitive grade, and those that are new to the sport team up in 4’s in the social grade.

Beach Volleyball is a team sport played on the sand in the Summer months so slip, slop, slap and wrap for this event in Term 1.

A classic option is to bring a pair of old socks for the hot sand - trust us! ☀️

Grades Offered:

Competitive (Pairs only): Senior Boys/Senior Girls/Junior Boys/Junior Girls
Social (4’s only): Senior Boys/Senior Girls/Junior Boys/Junior Girls

Max 4 team entries per grade and age group (ie. you could have 3 junior girls for competitive & 2 Junior girls for Social, 4 Junior boys Competitive, 3 Junior boys teams social, 4 senior girls teams for competitive, 3 senior girls team for social, 2 senior boys teams for competitive, 4 senior boys teams for social)

NB: Senior = Year 11-13 / Junior = Year 9&10

Recommended Equipment: A pair of old socks as the courts are on the HOT sand, sun block, peak cap, sunglasses for appropriate sun protection and a water bottle.

Entry: TSSSA only accept entries from school sports coordinators. Please head to the “About us” page for your school’s sports coordinator contact details.

Entry into a TSSSA event grants TSSSA permission to take photographs and/or video footage of those students/teams entered. TSSSA has the right to distribute these images/videos for promotional purposes. Please inform TSSSA in writing in advance of the event if a participant wishes not to be photographed/videoed.
