TSSSA SENIOR RUGBY LEAGUE

TSSSA Rugby League caters for students with previous experience in Rugby League. Rugby League is a physical team sport played with an oval ball, where each team get a set of 6 tackles to make it as close to the try line as possible.

TSSSA Rugby is a National Qualifier Event for NZSS Rugby League in September 2025.

Wille Talau Cup: Senior Boys (13 aside)
Teri Tamati Trophy: Senior Girls (9 aside)

NB: Senior only event (Year 11-13)

Compulsory Equipment: Studded boots, mouthguard.

Entry: TSSSA only accept entries from school sports coordinators. Please head to the “Contact” page for your school’s sports coordinator contact details.

Entry into a TSSSA event grants TSSSA permission to take photographs and/or video footage of those students/teams entered. TSSSA has the right to distribute these images/videos for promotional purposes. Please inform TSSSA in writing in advance of the event if a participant wishes not to be photographed/videoed.
